Suicide is the eighth leading cause of death in Lancaster County

In 2020, suicide was the 12th leading cause of death for all ages in the United States.13 Suicide is the 8th leading cause of death in Lancaster County.14

  • Since 2006, Lincoln has averaged 33 suicides per year.
