Lincoln newcomers are young

Since 2015, almost half (43%) of newcomers to Lincoln have been young adults between 18 and 24 years of age, on average. The influx of young people may be attributable to Lincoln’s multiple postsecondary institutions. 

• In 2019, 50% of Lincoln newcomers were 18 to 24 years of age.
