Suicide
Suicide is the eleventh leading cause of death in Lancaster County
In 2022, suicide was among the top nine leading causes of death for people 10 to 64 years of age nationwide. Suicide was the second leading cause of death for people 10 to 14 years of age, and for those 25-34 years of age.17
In Lancaster County, in 2023, suicide was the 11th leading cause of death.18
- Since 2006, Lincoln has averaged 33 suicides per year.
